MX Linux MX-23 "Libretto" was released in July, 2023, preceded by MX-21.3, and was available for desktop / laptop computers. The MX-23 is based on the Debian 12. 32-bit (x86) and 64-bit (x86-64) versions are available for the MX-23. Compared to previous releases, this MX Linux version include some new updates, such as Xfce 4.18, Fluxbox 1.3.7 and KDE/plasma 5.27. With enhanced live boot menus featuring a prominent "check media" feature, accessibility is improved through the integration of the Orca screen reader and a screen magnification tool in all versions. MX's commitment to user experience is evident in updated apps, bug fixes, and the introduction of "User Installed Packages" app, while MX-Tweak options accommodate polkit changes and MX-Updater provides configurable back-end alternatives. This holistic approach ensures that MX Linux provides a seamless and customizable environment for users of all types.
