Description

The third release in NT series was Windows NT 3.51, which was released on May 30, 1995. It includes improvement in networking, improved system performance, and added new features. Five service packs for NT 3.51 have been released which includes bug fixes and new features.

General information from Windows NT 3.50

The version was released in two different editions with a slight variation in the name, NT Workstation and NT Server. The Server version includes more networking features and programs than the workstation edition. NT 3.5 support WinShock and TCP / IP, sharing files via FTP, and remote access service. Some other new features, and updates in the GUI, are included in this version.
